To discuss any email with your colleagues, you can forward it to the Feed. All you need is a special e-mail.
Open your profile page and click Security.
Click Forwarding addresses and copy the address specified in the To create Newsfeed posts field.
This email is only used to create posts in Feed. It is unique to each employee.
Send an email to this address, specify the post header as the email subject and the post itself as the message text.
Attach files to the email, and they will be added as attachments to the Feed post.
Attachments should not exceed 14.3 Mb.
A Feed post will be created. The author and the recipient will be the person to whose address the email was sent.
If an Extranet user sends an email to the account, it will appear in the Extranet feed.
You can edit the message and add the recipients. If you’d like to involve others in conversation, you’ll need to click More > Add recipients.
- To communicate with external users via email from the Feed, the account must be accessible from the Internet and the account domain must have an MX_record of the Bitrix24 mail server:
mail-001.bitrix24.com. Please, contact your domain administrator. - If Bitrix24 On-Premise works via https, you should have a valid SSL certificate. Self-signed certificate is not suitable.
