Subtask is a task that should be completed as an element of a larger & more complex task.

Subtasks come in handy when a strict control is required over complex and sophisticated tasks. Such tasks can be split into several simple ones thereby streamlining the task workflow. What is more important, the subtasks can be assigned to different employees which brings the flexibility of the underlying business process to a higher level.

Here is how you can add subtasks in Bitrix24:
  • from Task form (click Add Task to create new task or Edit for an existing task) with the help of Subtask of  option. This option allows you to make the task your are creating - the subtask of an existing task. Use Add option to select existing task that will be appointed as parent task:
  • from Tasks List: open task options menu & select Create Subtask:
  • from Gantt Chart view: open task option menu & select Create Subtask:
  • Important: the parent task acts as a grouping container; the subtasks are independent of each other.
Subtasks are grouped under main parent task by default, click on "+" icon to show subtasks: Subtasks are available for tasks templates as well.

Derive task dates from subtask dates

When you work with subtasks it may be important to calculate planned start & end date for the main task based on the dates specified for the subtasks. For that go to Options section inside the task form and enable Derive Task Dates From Subtask Dates: The start date (for main task) will be set to the earliest start date across all subtasks. The end date (for main task) will be set to the latest end date of the connected subtasks.
This helped Thanks :) This didn't help Sorry :(
