Delete a knowledge base

Only users with the right permissions can delete a knowledge base.
Access permissions for company knowledge base

To delete a knowledge base:

  1. Go to Employees > Knowledge base tab.
  2. Select the knowledge base you want to remove.
  3. Click Actions > Delete knowledge base.

The system moves the deleted knowledge base to the recycle bin. It stays there for 30 days.

To view deleted knowledge bases:

  1. Open the Recycle bin.
  2. Use the filter to find knowledge bases.

Each item shows how many days remain before permanent deletion.

To restore a knowledge base:

  1. Open the Recycle bin.
  2. Find the knowledge base.
  3. Click Actions > Recover knowledge base.
You can restore a knowledge base within 30 days.
