Bitrix24 SCRUM Guide

Hi! If you ever managed a team - any kind of team, really, whether it’s software developers or sales agents - you’ve probably found yourself in a situation when things didn’t go the way you wanted them to.

How to manage teams efficiently

2 min 17 sec

For example:

  • A month has passed, everyone’s been busy “doing something” but any tangible results are yet to materialize.
  • Different parts of work appear to have been done but no one on the team seems to have a full understanding of the project scope, no one sees the big picture. A manager has to step in and put the project pieces together so that they could make sense.

The manager is responsible for everything

The team is just there working on their tasks and not giving a lot of hoots about everything else. If a problem arises, the manager will have to be the one to solve it.

As you can see, this kind of approach is not exactly effective, which means there has to be another approach. And there is!

You have probably heard about Agile methodology and how it helps teams work more efficiently and deliver value to their customers faster.

Even though Agile originated in the IT industry a few decades ago, it has expanded quite a bit since then and is now used in sales, marketing, banking, manufacturing, and even CGI production.

It’s all about Scrum

Scrum is one of the most widely used Agile-based frameworks and - wouldn’t you know it - we have it right here in Bitrix24!

Here in this course, we’ll talk all about Scrum, how to use it in Bitrix24, and how to get the most of it for your team.

If you’re already familiar with Scrum, skip to the chapter where we talk about Creating a Scrum team in Bitrix24.
