Multiple check-in helps field teams record visits to different locations during the day. Employees can check in from the app and attach photos, documents, and comments. Supervisors can see employees' route on a map, including where they went, how long they stayed, and what they added at each stop.
The map restriction applies only to EU countries and the UK. Users in other regions receive the map and full access to multi-check-in, but with a 3-month limit on geotag storage. In this article:
How multiple check-in works
Real-time route map. The map shows each employee's current location and their full route for the day. You can see stop points, arrival times, and time spent at each location.
Details for every stop. Employees can attach a photo, document, or comment to each check-in right away.
For example, a construction company supervisor might notice that a manager stayed longer than usual at a second site. The check-in can show the reason right away, such as a photo and comment about a delivery delay. There is no need to call and ask.
Route history. Routes are saved, so you can review any day later or use the history to resolve disputes.
Fewer calls and reports. Supervisors can see the full picture on the map without asking where someone is or what is happening on site. Employees can record details right away instead of trying to remember everything at the end of the day.
Check in at a location
1. Go to the Menu. In the Check-in widget, tap Send.
2. A new check-in form opens with your current location on the map. If needed, add a comment, attach a file or photo, and choose a colleague to send the check-in to a chat.
3. Tap Add check-in.
The check-in appears on the map and in the Check-in section. It shows the total number of check-ins for the day.
You can send the check-in message with the map and comments to a colleague in the chat.
Set up auto check-in
Auto check-in records an employee's route automatically, so they do not need to check in manually at every location.
This feature is helpful for teams that move between locations all day. The app should stay open and active on the device. When it does, the app records the day's route automatically. Supervisors can still see the full route even if the employee never taps the button.
Only subdepartment supervisors can configure auto check-in settings.
1. Go to the Menu > Check-ins.
2. In the top-right corner, tap More (···) > Settings.
3. A settings window opens with these options:
Auto check-in — the app records the employee's location throughout the day without manual input. It turns on only when all three conditions are met:
- The employee has started their workday
- The app is open on the device
- Auto check-in is enabled for the subdepartment.
This setting also applies to all subordinate subdepartments.
Require check-in when clock in — when this option is enabled, the check-in screen appears as soon as the workday starts. The employee can check in right away or close the screen. If they close it, the workday starts without a check-in. This setting also applies to all subordinate subdepartments.
Check-in — this option turns access to the route map on or off for all employees. Only a Bitrix24 administrator can change this setting.
View an employee's route
Go to Menu > Check-ins.
The map shows each employee's current location. This is the last recorded point, along with the check-in time and profile photo.
Tap an employee's photo to open their detailed route map for the day. Stop points are connected with a dashed line, and each point shows the arrival time.
Tap the Check-ins widget at the bottom of the screen to open a summary with addresses for all locations, time of each check-in, time spent at each stop, comments, and attachments.
To view a route for another day, tap the calendar icon and select a date.
