Taxation plays a vital role in sustaining a well-functioning society. In regions where our products are subject to taxation, we responsibly gather and transmit consumption tax to governmental bodies at local, state, and/or federal levels. In regions where we are not directly registered for tax purposes, our intermediary partners collect and remit applicable consumption taxes to the relevant authorities in accordance with local regulations. Please peruse the fundamental tax queries outlined below.
Why am I being charged VAT?
If you reside in a country that charges a value-added tax on services provided, Bitrix24 will require a VAT/GST ID that states that you are tax exempt. Without this exemption in place, it is our duty to comply with tax codes around the world. In some jurisdictions, you may be charged tax even if you provide a valid VAT/GST ID However, in accordance with local legislation, you may be eligible for a deduction. Please consult with your local consultants for further guidance.
If you cannot provide/or we cannot verify a VAT/GST ID you will be charged taxes as required by your country’s tax code.
How do I enter my VAT/GST ID?
