CoPilot generates text based on your prompt and the context you provide. If your prompt is vague or incomplete, the output may be inaccurate.
CoPilot does not search the internet in real time. It relies on the data it was trained on.
Write effective prompts for CoPilot
The more detail you include, the better the result. Use this structure as a guide:
-
Define a role. Tell CoPilot what perspective to take.
Example: Imagine you are a marketing director at an Italian restaurant. -
Describe the task. Clearly explain what you want. Include all relevant details.
Example: Write a creative script for a restaurant commercial about pizza-making workshops for children. -
Add context. Share details about your audience, product, and where the content will be used.
Example: The target audience is families with children. -
Set the format. Specify how the response should be structured.
Example: Provide a step-by-step script for a video commercial. -
Define limits. Set expectations for length, tone, and style. Mention anything to avoid.
Example: Include at least four scenes and add light humor. -
Include examples. Reference an example if you want a similar style or concept.
Example: Use a superhero theme in the video. -
Refine your prompt. Adjust your prompt based on the results you get. Iterate until it meets your needs.
