To make sure an employee receives the invitation and can sign in to your Bitrix24 on their first try, enter their email address in the correct format. First, check whether the employee already has a Bitrix24 account, as this determines how you should enter their email address.
If the employee already has a Bitrix24 account
Enter the email address associated with the employee's account — for example, ann.smith@gmail.com. Do not remove periods, hyphens, or other characters from the address, even for Gmail or Proton addresses. Bitrix24 may not find the employee's account if you change the address.
If you sent an invitation to the wrong email address, delete it and send a new one.

If the employee does not have a Bitrix24 account
When you invite an employee by email or register them yourself, remove characters that are not allowed in the email address. Bitrix24 does not support the + sign in email addresses when registering employees, and additional restrictions apply to Gmail and Proton addresses.
Follow the rules below when entering the email address.
All email addresses — remove + and everything between it and @. Many email services, including Gmail and Proton, use + to create email aliases. Emails sent to an alias arrive in the main inbox. For example, enter annsmith@gmail.com instead of annsmith+work@gmail.com. If + is part of the mailbox name, ask the employee for a different email address.
Gmail — remove all periods before @. This rule applies to addresses on gmail.com and googlemail.com. Enter annsmith@gmail.com instead of ann.smith@gmail.com. Gmail ignores periods in email addresses, so messages sent to either address arrive in the same inbox. If the address contains both periods and a + sign, apply both rules: enter annsmith@gmail.com instead of ann.smith+work@gmail.com.

Proton — remove periods, hyphens, and underscores before @. This rule applies to addresses on proton.me, protonmail.com, pm.me, and protonmail.ch. Enter annsmith@proton.me instead of ann.smith@proton.me. Proton ignores these characters in email addresses, so messages sent to either address arrive in the same inbox.

Other email services and work email addresses — you can keep periods, hyphens, and underscores. You do not need to change addresses such as ann.smith@yahoo.com or ann.smith@company.com: Gmail and Proton restrictions do not apply to them.
Do not use disposable email addresses. Disposable email services provide temporary inboxes that expire after a short time. Bitrix24 may reject these addresses. Ask the employee for a personal or work email address they use regularly.
If you invite an employee to Bitrix24 using a link, they enter their own email address during registration. The same restrictions apply, so let the employee know about them in advance.
