New version of Bitrix24 Desktop app for Windows, masOS and Linux

Our team constantly upgrades Bitrix24 Desktop app for Windows, masOS and Linux. In version 14, we have improved the process of downloading files. Now, there is a separate tab to check the downloads history. Also, you can specify the folder where to save files, apply actions on them and move the download progress popup around the screen. In addition, we first released the version of the app optimized for Apple M1 (ARM).

Download Location

In synchronization settings you can find the Downloads settings section:

Decide if you want to save files to the default download location or always ask where to save them. Configure the post download action: open folder or file, show notification or do nothing. Specify whether you want to show download progress popup or not.

Downloading process

You can close the download progress popup or move it around the screen.

This popup allows you to manage the downloading process: cancel, pause or resume it.

In Downloads settings you can disable this popup form appearing (as described above).

Download History section

Now, in the synchronization window there is the Downloads tab that shows the list of all the downloaded files:

After downloading a file, you can open it or a folder where it was saved.

Version for Apple M1/M2

We have released a separate version of the Bitrix24 Desktop app for macOS that is optimized for Apple M1/M2 processors. Native application does not require Rosetta 2 system to run. Also, it is much faster and consumes less energy when using Apple laptops on battery.
