Access permissions to reserve products

In Bitrix24, you can reserve products in deals to assign them to customers and keep your inventory accurate. Use reservations when stock is limited, when you collect prepayments, or when you ship items in parts. For example, a manager can reserve products until the shipment date to prevent selling them to another customer.

Go to CRM > Settings > Inventory access permissions.

Configure permissions so employees can reserve products and manage reservation modes:

  • Reserve products in deals
    Allows employees to assign products to a customer. The system reduces available stock based on the reservation. This helps managers hold items until shipment and avoid overselling.

  • Access to reservation settings
    Allows employees to configure reservation rules for the entire company, such as reservation duration and mode. Assign this permission to roles responsible for inventory management.

After you save the settings, managers can reserve products in deals based on company rules. Supervisors can manage reservation modes in the main inventory settings.
