Bitrix24 Messenger is an app for communication within a company. Chats, video calls, CoPilot and other Bitrix24 tools are available in the application. Use it to communicate with colleagues and solve work issues. Companies with any number of employees can work in Bitrix24 Messenger.

Install Bitrix24 Messenger

Download the application on Bitrix24 website. It is available for different operating systems.

• macOS. Double-click the application icon and move it to the Applications folder. Confirm that you want to open the application and accept the license agreement.


• Windows. Double-click on the application shortcut. Select in which folder to save the application and wait for installation.

After installation, open Bitrix24 Messenger, accept the user agreement and authorize in Bitrix24.

Select Bitrix24 Messenger operation mode

There are two operation modes for the app:

• Messenger only
• Messenger and other Bitrix24 tools

You can select the mode in the app settings:

1. Click Settings - Bitrix24 Application.
2. Check the Use two windows for application box.
3. Click Reload to update the startup settings.

Messenger only. This mode is suitable for those who work more in chat rooms, for example, support team. Other Bitrix24 tools are available in the browser.

• You can create a chat for an entire department or company at once - no need to invite each employee manually. If an employee leaves the company, he or she automatically loses access to chats and channels.


• Set tasks and meetings from chats in a couple of clicks and discuss work issues using video calls.


• Chat with CoPilot will help you with different tasks: writing email campaign text or coming up with non-standard ideas for your business.

To go to other tools, click on the Bitrix24 icon in the left panel of the messenger. If you are authorized in your browser, the main page of your Bitrix24 will open. If not, you need to authorize.

Messenger and other Bitrix24 tools. This mode is suitable for combining chatting and working with tasks, documents, CRM and other sections. Each tab has a name - you can quickly open the necessary one like in a browser.

Getting started with Bitrix24

There will be a different icon for each window.

Connect multiple Bitrix24 to the application

If you are working in different Bitrix24, you can connect them to the application. This will allow you to quickly switch between different accounts in the process of work.

The connection method depends on the mode in which you are working.

Messenger only.

1.Click on the avatar in the left corner and select +Connect.
2. Specify Bitrix24 address, for example, test.bitrix24.com, login and password.
3. Click Sign in.

Messenger and other Bitrix24 tools.

1. Click on Plus (+) in the top panel of the application.
2. Select Add (+) in the right corner of the home page.
3. Enter Bitrix24 address, for example, test.bitrix24.com, login and password.
4. Click Sign in.

To disable or remove Bitrix24 from the list:

1. Open the chat app and click on your photo in the bottom left corner.
2. Click on the dots next to Bitrix24 and select the option.
3. Exit - the tab with Bitrix24 will close, but the connection will remain in the list. Later you can reconnect Bitrix24 to the messenger without authorization.
4. Remove from list - Bitrix24 will be deleted from the list. To connect, you will need to authorize again.
