Synchronize users' contacts with iOS Contacts app

Synchronization of users' contacts on iOS devices is done via CardDAV.

    CardDAV is a protocol designed for synchronizing contact databases. It allows users to access and share contact data on a server.

Set up a CardDAV account on your Apple device and connect to your Bitrix24 to automatically sync contacts with the Contacts app.

Go to Company > Employees, click the gear button, and select Synchronize with CardDAV.

Then follow the instructions on how to set up your Apple device to support CardDAV.

Synchronize manually
Synchronize using Mobile app

1. On your Apple device, go to Settings > Contacts > Accounts.

2. Then select Add Account > Other.

3. Select the CardDAV type.

4. Enter your Bitrix24 account address, login, and password.

If you are using two-step authentication, use the password specified in the user profile: Application passwords > Contacts.

5. Tap Next in the top right corner to finish.

Done! All the users' contacts will appear in the Contacts app.

1. Open the Bitrix24 mobile app.

2. Go to the More section on the bottom menu.

3. Tap Settings and select Synchronize.

4. Then select Synchronize contacts and allow downloading a configuration profile.

5. On your Apple device, navigate to Settings > Profile Downloaded > Install.

Done! All the users' contacts will appear in the Contacts app.

To edit or deactivate the account,

  1. Go to Settings > Contacts > Accounts.

  2. Select the account that contains your Bitrix24 account address.

  3. Apply changes or disable the Account toggle.

To delete the account from your Apple device,

  1. Go to Settings > General > VPN & Device Management.

  2. Select your Bitrix24 account under Configuration profile.

  3. Then tap the Remove profile button.
