Create work schedules for your employees and control their working time using some helpful options.
- Go to the Employees > Time and reports > Add schedule.
- Configure the settings.
Select a schedule type:
- Fixed
- Flexible
- Shifts
Specify a reporting period and the employees to apply the settings to.
Work hours. Select working days, working hours and break duration.
Working time control. Specify how your employees will start and finish the work day:
- Clock-in and clock-out – employees need to start and finish the workday manually.
- Clock-in only – employees need to start the day manually. The workday will be clocked-out automatically according to the specified work hours.
Track schedule violations. Select schedule violations which you would like to track:
- Clock-in and clock-out – specify the time when employees must clock in and clock out. If there is a violation, a notification will be sent to specified employees.
- Working hours per day – if an employee has worked less then the specified hours per day, the users selected below will be notified.
- Maximum length of time to shift clock-in and clock-out times – specify the maximum length an employee can edit clock-in and clock-out times. Any edit beyond that will trigger a violation notification.
- Maximum underworked hours for reporting period – specify the maximum number of hours an employee is allowed to underwork for the selected reporting period. Longer underwork will trigger a violation.
Notifications about violations can also be sent to the employee's supervisor. To use this option, make sure to configure your company structure first.
Restrictions. Select devices from which employees can manage their work time:
- in a web browser
- in mobile app
- both options are possible
