Regular updates of the Bitrix24 On-premise version help protect data and access new tools.
With updates, you can:
- Use new tools: CoPilot, e-Signature for HR, Signature, BI Builder
- Enhance system security and fix vulnerabilities
- Improve performance and stability
Updates are installed using SiteUpdate. It is a built-in system that does not affect the public part of Bitrix24 and saves data. Before installation, all files are checked to avoid operational failures.

Install updates
To update the On-premise Bitrix24, perform three actions:
1. Check the PHP version. Ensure the server runs on PHP 8.1 or higher. If the version is below 8.1, update it. Otherwise, updates cannot be installed. Before updating, we recommend creating a backup of Bitrix24. This will help restore operations in case of an error and preserve data.

- Click Update SiteUpdate.
3. Update the On-premise version.

Support for Bitrix24 On-premise editions
Bitrix24 can be updated to the latest version if you have an active license. If the license expires and is not renewed, you will not be able to continue using Bitrix24. To avoid restrictions, we recommend renewing the license on time.

Use beta versions
Before updates are released, all new tools are tested in beta versions. They provide early access to new Bitrix24 features but may contain errors.
For the Bitrix24 On-premise version, there are two update options:
- Stable version — fully tested and suitable for work. By default, only stable versions of updates are installed.
- Beta version — contains new features but may require additional refinement.
Beta versions allow testing new tools and evaluating their performance before release.
To enable beta version updates:
- Go to the Marketplace > Platform Update > Settings.
- Select Allow beta versions in the Enable Beta Version Installation section.
In brief:
- Updates allow using new tools, enhance security, and improve Bitrix24 stability.
- Before updating, check the PHP version and create a data backup—PHP 8.1 or higher is required for updates.
- To update Bitrix24, go to Marketplace > Platform Update > Install updates.
- Beta versions provide early access to new features but may contain errors. Enable new features in Marketplace > Platform Update > Settings.
