Set up login and password when using social login

Bitrix24 supports authorization via social networks. If you used a social service during registration and want to simplify the login process, create a familiar login and password. In this case, email will be used as a login.

Create a login and password to streamline logging in via the desktop app.

Add an email address to your Bitrix24 Network profile

Go to the Bitrix24 Network profile page and log in using the social network account you used during registration.

Click the Connect email button on the right.

Enter your email address and create a password. Click Save.

What does the "A user with this email already exists" error mean?

If the system shows this error, it means that this email is already registered in the Bitrix24 Network profile. In this case, we recommend using another email address. Alternatively, unlink the desired email from the account. To do this,
  1. Go to the Bitrix24 Network profile using the current email.
  2. Click Change in the email field.
  3. Specify a new email address and confirm it.
After that, you can connect it to the desired account.

Confirm your new email address

Then open your inbox and find a confirmation letter.

Mail confirmation may not be necessary if you link a mailbox with the social network integration.

Confirm your email address, and it will be connected to your Bitrix24 Network profile.

Now, you can use your login and password when logging in to Bitrix24 account via a browser or desktop app.
