In Bitrix24, you can manage employee access to Inventory Management settings, the catalog, and access permissions. This is convenient when some employees handle inventory and sales, while others configure sections and permissions. For example, a supervisor is responsible for the catalog and access settings, while managers work only with documents and products.
- Go to the CRM section > Settings > Inventory access permissions.
- To allow employees to modify catalog parameters, manage access permissions, and enable the sale of out-of-stock products, grant them the following permissions:
- Section parameters— allows changing VAT parameters, enabling subscriptions for out-of-stock products, and managing inventory management modes. Suitable for supervisors and those responsible for inventory.
Inventory management settings - Edit employee access permissions — allows assigning roles and granting permissions. For instance, a supervisor can assign the "Manager" role to an employee and grant access to editing products.
Inventory access permissions - Toggle the option "Make out-of-stock items available for purchase" on or off — allows enabling or disabling the purchase of products not currently in stock. For example, if an administrator enables this option, customers can place pre-orders for popular but temporarily unavailable products.
After saving the settings, employees with the necessary permissions will be able to manage catalog parameters, inventory management, and access permissions.
