You can use two types of taxes in Bitrix24 CRM:
- Location-dependent tax (sales tax) - this tax is applied to the total order amount. The tax rate depends on the customer location.
- Item-dependent tax (VAT) - this tax is specified and applied to each item individually.
You can add any of these taxes in CRM section > More > Settings > Start point > Taxes.
Add location-dependent tax
In Taxes section click Settings.
Select Location-dependent tax (sales tax) and click Save.
Click Add tax and enter its name and description in the appeared form.
You have added a new tax, but you need to configure the tax rate. Open the created tax and click Tax rates > Add tax rate.
Enter the tax rate and location. In our case it's Germany.
Don't forget to make this tax rate Active. Also, you can enable Include tax in price option.
Done! Now when creating an invoice or quote, along with the information about the customer, you will need to specify customer's location.
If there is a tax for the specified location, Bitrix24 will automatically apply it.
