If you need your customers or extranet users to create the Feed posts or tasks, they can do that by sending an email to a special email address.
Open your profile page > click Security.
Create a task from an email
Click Forwarding addresses and copy the address specified in the To create task field.
You can use this address to email tasks for yourself or share it with your coworkers, partners or clients to set tasks for you. Simply forward or send a new email message to this address with task name as the email subject and task description as the message text. Attach files to the email, and they will be added as attachments to your Bitrix24 tasks.
New task created for you from the email message will look like any other Bitrix24 task form, which can be edited at any time – e.g. you will be able to assign it to a different user, add participants or observers, set deadlines, etc. By default, the responsible person and the task creator is the one who the email message has been sent to.
Create a Feed post from an email
Click Forwarding addresses and copy the address specified in the To create Feed posts field.
Send an email to this address, specify the post header as the email subject and the post itself as the message text. Attach files to the email, and they will be added as attachments to the Feed post.
There are many, instances when this can come in handy, like an important email from your client that requires immediate attention or a message from the colleague who only has access to email at the moment.
By default, the post created by forwarding the email will be addressed from you to yourself. If you’d like to involve others in conversation, you’ll need to click More > Add recipients.
