Working with documents online has its advantages. You don't need to constantly update the file versions. You can work on a document simultaneously with other people. Also, you don't need any additional software - all the work can be done in your browser.
In Bitrix24, you can use Google Docs for working with documents. Go to the Bitrix24.Drive section, click the cogwheel button and select Settings for working with documents.
Choose In the cloud and click Save.
The portal administrator can select the View documents using Google Docs option by default. You can do it in the Settings section in the left menu.
Open a document you want to edit, select Google Docs and click Edit.
Allow Bitrix24 Connector to access your Google Account.
Now you can edit the document together with your colleagues.
Once you have finished, do not forget to click Save after closing the window.
