If the Allow sending emails to any address option is disabled in CRM settings, you can only send emails to the addresses from the CRM item form or its linked contacts and companies. This helps prevent mistakes, like sending important information to the wrong customer.

Select a recipient in a lead

From a lead form, you can send an email to the addresses from the lead field or its linked contact and company.

Lead email. If a lead form has an email address in the Email field, it will automatically be set as the recipient. If there are multiple addresses listed, you can choose which one to send the email to.

If a lead form doesn't have any emails and no contact or company is linked, you can't send an email. An error will appear in the email creation window.

Contact and company emails. If a contact and company are linked to a lead, you can choose one of their emails as the recipient.

If a lead has a contact linked to a company, you can only send the email to the contact's email address.

Select a recipient in a contact and company

Contact. If a contact form has an email address in the Email field, it will automatically be set as the recipient. If there are multiple addresses listed, you can choose which one to send the email to.

If a contact is linked to a company and both forms have emails, you can send the email to either address.

Company. If a company form has an email address in the Email field, it will automatically be set as the recipient. If there are multiple addresses listed, you can choose which one to send the email to.

Select a recipient in a deal, invoice, estimate, and SPA item

To send an email from a deal, invoice, estimate, or SPA item form, you need to link a contact or company to it.

Here's how to select an email recipient in a deal.

If both a contact and a company are linked to a deal, choose one of their emails as the recipient.

If a deal has a contact linked to a company, only the contact's email will be available as the recipient.

If a deal form doesn't have a linked contact or company with an email, you can't send an email. An error will appear in the email creation window.

Who can send emails from the CRM item form

To send emails from a CRM item form, you need permission to modify it and view linked contacts and companies.

If you don't have access to a contact or company, they will appear as Hidden contact or Hidden company, and you won't be able to email them.

Bitrix24 administrators or employees allowed to change CRM settings can configure CRM access permissions.
