When you need to get feedback or opinions from your team fast and easy, you can use polls in the Feed.
How to create a poll
Open the Feed > click Poll.
Specify the topic and your message, select users that will participate in this poll, specify question and answers. Enable the Allow multiple choice option if needed. Also, you can add another question by clicking the Add question button. Then click the small arrow at the bottom.
Select one of the anonymity options:
- Normal (user defined) - users decide before voting whether their names will be visible after voting or not.
- Public (all votes are public) - users' names are shown after voting.
- Anonymous - users' names are hidden.
Enable the Users can change their vote option if you want to allow users changing their votes.
Click Send.
How it works
If you've selected Public poll, you will be able to see users' names.
If you've selected Anonymous poll, you won't see users' names.
If you've selected Normal poll, a user needs to define before voting whether he/she wants his/her name to be shown or not.
In this case, votes will be shown like that:
The poll creator can always stop the poll by clicking the corresponding button.
You can export results to Excel by clicking the Results (XLS) button.
