Smart scripts automate routine actions in CRM. You can add them to business processes to run actions automatically. For example, a smart script can create tasks for employees or schedule meetings in the calendar.
- Open CRM > Settings > CRM settings > Automation > Business Processes.
- Select a business process template.
- Drag the Start Smart Script action to the stage where you want the script to run.
- Click the settings icon ⚙️ and configure the action.
Specify these parameters:
- Title: Enter a name for the action.
- Item ID: Specify the ID of the CRM item. For example, to run a smart script for a specific deal, enter the deal ID.
- Run as user: Select the employee who will run the script.
- Smart script: Select a script from the list.
5. Save the settings.
When the business process starts, the smart script runs automatically. You do not need to start it manually.
