Create and configure product catalog

Bitrix24 uses a single product catalog for both CRM and online stores. When you create a page in your online store, you can add products from this catalog. In CRM, you can add products to an invoice or estimate when working with customers.

Open the product catalog:

  • CRMInventoryProduct catalog
  • Sites and StoresInventoryProduct catalog

Before adding products, create sections and set up custom product properties.


Create product sections

  1. Click Create > Section.
  2. Enter the name and description.
  3. Save the changes.

You can also create subsections. Select a parent section and link subsections to it. Fill in the fields and save.


Add product properties

The catalog includes standard properties such as product name, brand, and unit of measurement.

To create custom properties:

  1. Go to Sites and Stores.
  2. Open Settings.
  3. Click Product catalog.
  4. Select Product properties.
  5. Click Create.

Main tab

Fill in these fields:

  • Type — defines the data format (list, number, file, and others).
  • Symbolic code — use Latin characters, numbers, and underscores only.
  • Name — property name.
  • Sort order — controls where the property appears in the online store.
  • Active — enable to show the field in the product form.
  • Multiple — allows selecting multiple values.
  • Required — makes the field mandatory.
  • Searchable — enables search by this field in the catalog and online store.
  • Show in online store — displays the field in the store, product form, and catalog.

Configure additional options:

  • Show in product catalog filters — displays the field in store filters.
  • Show in smart filter — choose how values appear (checkboxes, radio buttons, or dropdown).
  • Show expanded — shows values in expanded form to customers.
  • Show hint in smart filter — displays a hint icon next to the field.

Save the changes. The property will be available in the product form.

Create a product

On the Product catalog page:

  1. Click Create > Product.
  2. Fill in the required fields.
  3. Add a description, set the price, and assign the product to a section.

You can also add product variants. Product variants are different versions of the same product, such as different colors of a T-shirt.

If you have a product list in CSV format, you can import it into Bitrix24.

Configure the product catalog

  1. Click the Settings icon.
  2. Select the fields you want to display.
  3. Click Apply.

Enable Apply for everyone to use the same view for all employees.

You can also edit multiple items directly in the list:

  1. Select items.
  2. Click Edit.
  3. Update the data and save.
