Use smart scripts to automate daily CRM operations with automation rules. For example, if you have deals where you need to assign tasks to employees or set up meetings, create a set of automation rules that will perform the actions for you.
You can create smart scripts for:
- Leads
- Deals
- Contacts
- Companies
- Invoices
- SPA items
Create a smart script
Here's an example of how to create a smart script for deals:
- Go to CRM and open Deals.
- Click the three dots (...) in the top right corner.
- Select Smart scripts, and pick Create script.
A panel will slide out on the right. Complete the settings in each tab:
Description. Name your script and provide a description.
Automation rules. Click Add to set up automation rules.
For example, you can add a rule to automatically assign tasks to employees.
While setting up the rule, you can specify these parameters:

Provided by administrator before launch: The administrator must specify the rule's parameters in the Configure Script section before saving.

Ask before launch: When starting the script, you'll need to enter the data in the window that appears.
Configure script. Adjust additional settings if you selected one of the options above.
Once all the settings are complete, click Save at the bottom.
Start a script
Select a deal and then choose the script you want to run.
If you use the Ask before launch parameter, specify the needed details to proceed.
As soon as the script starts, it will automatically do the tasks you have set up.
Configure or delete a script
Click Scripts in the menu.
You will see all your scripts listed here. Edit or delete them if needed.
