Smart scripts in CRM

Use smart scripts to automate daily CRM operations with automation rules. For example, if you have deals where you need to assign tasks to employees or set up meetings, create a set of automation rules that will perform the actions for you.

You can create smart scripts for:

  • leads
  • deals
  • contacts
  • companies
  • invoices
  • SPA
Only account administrators can set up smart scripts.

How to create a smart script

Let's say you want to add a smart script for deals. Go to CRM and open Deals. Click the three dots in the top right corner, select Smart scripts, and pick Create script.

Specify the name and the description of the script.

Then configure automation rules.

For example, add a rule to assign tasks to employees automatically.

While setting up the rule, you can specify the following parameters:

  • Provided by administrator before launch: The administrator will need to specify the parameters of the rule in the Configure script section before saving the script.

  • Ask before launch: When launching the script, you will need to enter the data in the window that appears.

In the Configure script section, you can adjust more settings if you chose one of the options above.

When all the settings are done, click Save at the bottom.


How to launch a script

Select a deal and then choose the script you want to run.

If you use the Ask before launch parameter, specify the needed details to proceed.

As soon as the script starts, it will automatically do the tasks you have set up.


How to configure or delete a script

Click Scripts in the menu.

You will see all your scripts listed here. Edit or delete them if needed.
