Disable calendar synchronization with iPhone and macOS

If you connect your iCloud calendar to Bitrix24, you may see duplicate events on your devices. This usually happens because calendar sync is already enabled on your iPhone or macOS device.

To prevent duplicate events, turn off the existing sync settings.


Disable synchronization on macOS

  1. Open the Calendar app on your Mac.
  2. In the top menu bar, go to Calendar > Accounts.
  3. Select your Bitrix24 calendar account.
  4. Click the icon to remove the account.
  5. Confirm the action.

After you disable sync, calendar events will stop appearing on your device. The synchronization status in Bitrix24 may still display for up to 24 hours.


Disable synchronization on iPhone

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone.
  2. Go to General > VPN & Device Management.
  3. In the Configuration Profile section, select the calendar account.
  4. Tap Remove Profile.
  5. Enter your passcode and confirm the action.

You can also disable sync another way:

  1. Open Settings > Calendar > Accounts.
  2. Select the calendar account.
  3. Remove the account from your iPhone.
  4. Confirm the action.

After you disable sync, calendar events will stop appearing on your device. The synchronization status in Bitrix24 may still display for up to 24 hours.
