Disable automation rules and workflow actions

Quick answer

To disable an automation rule:

  1. Go to CRM > Automation rules.
  2. On the Sales automation page, select a rule.
  3. Click Actions > Disable.

To enable the rule again, open the Actions menu and select Enable.

To disable multiple rules:

  1. Click Group actions below the automation rule form.
  2. Select the rules you want to disable.
  3. Choose Disable from the top panel.

Detailed steps

Disable an automation rule

  1. Go to the CRM section.
  2. Open Automation rules.
  3. On the Sales automation page, select a rule.
  4. Click Actions > Disable.

The rule is now disabled. To turn it back on, use the Actions menu.

Disable multiple automation rules

  1. Open Group actions below the automation rule form.
  2. Select the rules you want to disable.
  3. Choose the action from the top panel.

Disable a workflow action

  1. Open the workflow.
  2. Select the action you want to disable.
  3. Click the settings icon.
  4. Open the action menu in the top-right corner.
  5. Select Disable.
  6. Click Save.

The disabled action appears grayed out.

If you disable a main action, all dependent actions are also disabled. You can enable any action again using the same steps.
