Counter modes in CRM

Counters remind users about activities in CRM. When an activity needs attention, the counter appears on the related CRM item.

You can now choose which activity notifications you want to receive. Counters are available for deals, leads, contacts, and companies.

CRM item responsible person mode

This mode is enabled by default.

The person responsible for the CRM item sees counters for all activities in that item, no matter who the activity is assigned to.

For example, a user may see two counters in a deal even if they are responsible for only one activity.


Activity responsible person mode

You can enable this mode in the settings.

In this mode, users only see notifications for activities assigned to them.

You can also filter activities by activity owner.

To add this filter:

  1. Open the CRM search bar.
  2. Click Add Field.
  3. Select Activity responsible person.

Change the counter mode

To select a counter mode:

  1. Go to CRM Settings.
  2. Open Other > Other settings.
  3. Open the Activity tab.
  4. Select a value in Counter mode.

Counter colors

Counters use different colors to show activity types.

  • Green — Incoming activities
  • Red — Planned and overdue activities
  • Red and green — Incoming, planned, and overdue activities at the same time

In brief

  • Different users can own a CRM item and its activities.

  • By default, CRM item owners see counters for all activities in the item.

  • In Activity responsible person mode, users only see counters for activities assigned to them.

  • To change the mode, go to CRM Settings > Other > Other settings > Activity > Counter mode.
