In this article, we have described how the deadline in the Activity will be changed depending on the column in which the item is located.
The deadline for a new activity will always be rounded up to a full hour. For example, you created an activity at 6:13 p.m. The deadline will be 7:00 p.m.
However, the number of days that will be added to the deadline depends on the way you set up the activity.
If you create an activity when you are closing a deal form, the time is rounded up to a full hour plus three work days.
The same rule applies when you create an activity inside the form, or through the + Activity option in kanban.
The rules apply when:
- you create a quick deal.
- you move a deal from the Without activities column to another one.
- you move a deal with a created activity to another column. If there are two activities in the deal, the deadline changes for the activity with the closest deadline.
Column | Rule | Activity Creation Time | Deadline |
---|---|---|---|
Today | The current date, time is rounded up to a full hour. | February 1, 3:44 p.m. | February 1, 4:00 p.m. |
This week | If today is not the last day of the week, the time is rounded up to a full hour + 1 day. | February 1, 3:44 p.m. | February 2, 4:00 p.m. |
This week | If today is the last day of the week according to your work schedule, the time is rounded up to a full hour. The day remains the current one. | February 1, 3:44 p.m. | February 1, 4:00 p.m. |
Next week | The time is rounded up to a full hour + 7 days. | February 1, 3:44 p.m. | February 8, 4:00 p.m. |
Over two weeks | The time is rounded up to a full hour + 14 days. | February 1, 3:44 p.m. | February 15, 4:00 p.m. |
For example, if you create a quick deal in the Today column at 3:44 pm, the deadline will be today at 4 pm.
