Search in CRM: find items by activities

You can easily find any deal in Bitrix24 CRM using the search bar and filters. Select the search criteria: custom fields in the deal or fields of related items, a contact and a company. We have added the ability to search for entities by activities. They can be deals with sent SMS, incoming emails or linked tasks.


Add fields connected with an activity

Click the search bar in the CRM section and select filters for searching. You can also Add field if there is no necessary field in the list.

Select Activity and uncheck the other options. The following fields will be available:

  • Date created
  • Deadline
  • Responsible person
  • Created by
  • Status — if the activity is open or closed.
  • Activity type — a meeting, a phone call, a task, an email, an SMS message, a chat, a CRM form and others.
  • Activity source — planned or incoming.
  • Check the fileds you are going to use for filtering deals.


    How the search works

    Let's find all deals with tasks to add them to the work plan.

    Several deals were found. Since there are no activities, we conclude that the tasks are completed.

    In addition, you can filter activities by status: open or closed. Select the required option in the Status field.

      In brief:

    • Search in CRM helps you find the necessary entities You can specify the search parameters: your own fields in the deal or fields of related items, contact and company.

    • We have added the ability to search for items by activity, for example, deals with incoming emails, linked tasks, etc.

    • Click on the search bar in the CRM section. A list of fields opens by which you can filter CRM entities. To select activity options, click Add Field and select Activity.

    • In addition, you can filter activities by status: closed or open. Select the option in the Status field.
