Change product price in CRM elements

We have added two new options to CRM:

  • Allow users to edit product price inside CRM entities

  • Save new product price from CRM entities to the catalog

Now you can allow or prohibit to change the price of the product in the catalog when you change the price in other sections.

If you need to add a discount, do not change the price in the catalog. You will see incorrect data in the inventory documents.

The options are located on the page CRM - Settings - Other - Other settings - Product settings.

Only the administrator can enable the options.

Allow users to edit product price inside CRM entities

If this option is disabled, the product price in the form is blocked. You will see a notification on the product page.

This option blocks only price changes. You can add an item with any price, even if it differs from the catalog price, with the help of automation rules or rest.

If you want to change the price in the deal form, use a Discount field. Specify the discount in the product currency or as a percentage.

If you have not a discount field, click on the gear and add the field in the settings.

If this option is enabled, you can change the price of any item. In this case, the product price in the catalog will not change.

Save new product price from CRM entities to the catalog

This option appears in the settings, if you enable the previous one.

If this option is enabled, the product price in the catalog will be changed when you change the product price in the CRM entity.

If you do not want the price in the catalog to change, click Don't save in the notification or disable this option.

We do not recommend enabling this option, if you have more than one employee working with customers. They may change the price in the catalog for the same item at the same time.
