Get started with CoPilot in Tasks

You can open CoPilot below the task description field or in comments. To do this, click CoPilot or press the space bar. To work with part of the text, select it and click CoPilot.

Create a task with CoPilot

Add basic information about the task, and let CoPilot expand it and define the required steps. You do not need to worry about typos or complicated wording. CoPilot will improve the text automatically.

To create a task, use our pre-promptsPre-prompts are ready-made prompts for CoPilot. They use simple language, but include several requests in one prompt to help CoPilot generate the expected result.. They are grouped by purpose:

Improve task description. Continue the task description, rewrite it in simpler language, create a checklist, or add encouraging wording for employees.

Analyze text. Summarize the text, identify pros and cons, and clarify unclear points.

Modify text. Fix mistakes, simplify the text, translate it into another language, or add emojis.

Create a checklist with CoPilot

The main advantage of CoPilot in tasks is the ability to create checklists in one click. You do not need to organize the information manually or worry about missing important details. Add the main task information, and CoPilot will generate the checklist automatically.

Create your own prompts for CoPilot

In addition to pre-prompts, you can create your own prompts for CoPilot from scratch.

Clearly describe the expected result in your prompt. This helps CoPilot generate more accurate and relevant content.

For example, here is a message from a manager in a team chat:

In the first example, CoPilot generates only the basic task information.

Use CoPilot in task chats

In a task chat, you can interact with CoPilot to ask questions, discuss ideas, or request a summary of the conversation. CoPilot helps you quickly understand the context, suggest ideas, and support discussions directly in the chat.

1. In the message field, type @ and select CoPilot.
2. Enter your question or request, for example: "Summarize the discussion".

CoPilot replies directly in the chat. All task participants can see the response.
